The Chester & Wrexham Charity Heritage Bus Running Day - A large selection of Preserved buses running between Wrexham and Chester

A large selection of vehicles will be running on free service D1 (1H) between Wrexham and Chester on New Year's Day.
The route will follow the current Arriva Number 1 service excluding Chester Business Park.
Route 44H which operated on New Year's Day 2023 will also operate depending on the numbers of vehicles entered.
We are hoping to have a display of vehicles & some trade stands at Wrexham Bus Station.
Our previous events saw a mix of local Crosville and Chester Corpy buses and some London Transport and many other non local vehicles.
Make sure you come for a ride on January 1st 2024 and support Nightingale House Hospice.

The cost of a single bus journey is capped at £2* on most Stagecoach routes in England.
This Government funded initiative has now been extended till the end of June 2023.
June 2022 - Service 12 Saltney operates from Stand A Chester Bus Interchange.

The old bus station on Princess Street is being redeveloped as part of The Northgate Development.
