The Racket Club is a music event held irregularly in venues across Northern England. It is not genre specific because we don't like to discriminate - usually there are some bands, on occasion there's some DJ's and every now and again there's some visual artists. It's not rocket science, but it is a racket.
Chester's No.1 Funky House night Intro... Welcome fellow party primates! Funki Munki brings you the best DJ's from across the North West, to spin the choicest platters for your delight and delectation. After years of Chester being absent from the funky house scene we're bringing you the most chimpin' jumpin' turntable slappers in the region. So let your backbone slip, your knuckles drag along the floor and get jumpin' to the Funki Munki beats. You'd be bananas to miss it!
The Parish Church of St. John’s is a priceless asset, not only to the City of Chester, but to the wider world. St. Johns' walls have seen over a thousand years of prayer and events which have impacted on the history of the British Isles. It is the oldest Christian Site in Chester as well as one of the oldest in the United Kingdom. St. John’s doors are open 365 days of the year allowing people to pray or admire its unique architecture. St. John's is a place of peace in a busy world. We as its custodians want it to remain available for future generations, to do so we need to make St. John's well known to wider varieties of the public. Hence the Project! THE ROMANS CAME! THE SAXONS CAME! THE NORMANS CAME! WE WANT YOU TO COME! The Door's of St. John's are open to you all.
